About · Our story

GWK was built by a parent
who was tired of feeling like
he wasn't doing enough.

This is the real story. No mission statement. No brand speak. Just why this exists, and who it's for.

"I'm not a parenting expert. I'm a parent who got tired of feeling guilty — and decided to do something about it."

Two kids. A full life. And a constant low-level feeling that I should be doing more — more activities, more enrichment, more screen-free time. GWK started as me trying to solve my own problem. It turned into something I hope helps you too.

Activities rooted in the Indian family world your child already lives in

Why GWK really exists.

Most parenting content makes me feel worse. Articles about optimal schedules. Apps with streaks. Products that imply my child is behind. None of it helped me feel calmer — it just added to the list.

What actually helped? Twenty minutes on a Sunday. A piece of paper. My daughter drawing an angry face and explaining it to me in complete, surprising detail. That was it. That was the moment.

You don't need a programme. You need a reason to sit down together. That's all GWK tries to give you.

GWK is built for the Indian family in all its real shapes — joint families, working parents, grandparents who don't speak English, children who mix three languages in one sentence. Our activities reflect that world because that's the world we live in.

Everything is a PDF. Print it or don't. Black and white is fine. The point is the conversation, not the product.

What we believe

Six things GWK will never compromise on.

These aren't brand values. They're the actual decisions we make every day — about what to build, what to say, and what to leave out.

🤝
Parent trust over conversion

We will never use urgency, guilt, or comparison to make you buy something. If something isn't right for your family today, we'd rather you know that.

💬
Clarity over cleverness

No jargon. No edu-speak. No "holistic developmental frameworks." If we can't say it simply, we haven't understood it well enough yet.

☀️
Calm over excitement

We deliberately don't use caps, exclamation marks, or urgency. You're probably already overwhelmed. We don't want to add to that.

🌱
Usable tonight, not aspirational

Every activity must be doable by a tired parent on a Tuesday evening. If it requires prep, setup, or special materials — it doesn't belong here.

🇮🇳
Indian by design, not by sticker

Our activities are built from Indian family life — tyohaar, joint families, dadi ki baatein. Not an Indian flag on a Western template.

💛
No guilt. Ever.

You're not behind. Your child is not behind. Imperfect moments are still moments. GWK exists to make the good ones a little easier to find.

Start with something simple.
